DIY Healthy Deodorant Roll-On

I ran out of my natural deodorant recently and was inspired to make my own because I had most of the ingredients laying around my house anyway so why not. It is super easy, takes no more than literally 5 minutes and probably costs you a third or less of the price that it costs to buy it at the store or online. Plus it is aluminum free, smells really nice and is in an easy to use roll-on (my fave).

Here are the ingredients...

1. 2 teaspoon baking soda

2. 1.5 teaspoon cornstarch

3. Doterra Essential Oils: 3 drops Peppermint, 1 drop Geranium, 1 drop Lavender and 4 drops Lemon (you can use your own favorite scents or brand, but this is my favorite)

4. Small Pot to boil

5. 1 cup water

6. Funnel

7. Roll-on bottle (you can order on Amazon!)

How to make: Add baking soda to 1/2 cup water and simmer in a pot over the stove until baking soda dissolves. Then add 1.5 teaspoon cornstarch that has been mixed in 1/2 cup of water to the baking soda in the pot. Let this mixture boil while stirring then turn off the heat and cool for a moment. Mix in the essential oils then funnel this into your roll-on container and voila!
